Get Passionate

Almost everyday I get asked about my INTENSE passion and energy for life.

Common questions include….

Where did you get your passion from? How do you have so much energy every day? And my personal favourite…..Can your passion and energy be bottled and sold for every day use?

In summary, people want to know what I am on!

Highly successful people know that to achieve great success in anything you need to get passionate and get energized about what you do. It’s about escaping from normality and having the courage to break away from the crowd.

Let me explain……

At a young age, I was blessed to find something that really juiced and excited me. A sport called figure skating. That passion for figure skating has stayed with me now for 20 years and has acted like a ripple effect spilling over to contribute and add value in all other areas of my life.

Passion allows you to achieve things that you never thought possible. In my opinion, it is the sparkle in someone’s eye or the constant happiness that you see in so few people on a daily basis. Passion is your juice for life, it’s that burning flame inside you, it’s your reason to keep going and it gives you purpose in what you do.

Passion is the fuel inside you that gives you the ability to achieve your greatest desires. Passion is what gets you out of bed in the morning and most importantly passion is what keeps you going when all the odds are against you. Passion gives you the inner strength to break down all the obstacles that are thrown your way!

I encourage you to get passionate, find your flame and IGNITE it!

In order to be truly successful, you need to get honest and really ask yourself if you a living your passion. At bare minimum are doing things that you are passionate about on a weekly basis?

Now you may say that it is easy for me because I have found so many things that I am passionate about. I love my work, I love my skating, I love helping people grow around me and I love contributing to the wider community. I get to do this all the time and I am lucky enough to be utilising my strengths in an empowering environment every single day.

If you haven’t found your passion or at least something that excites you, I encourage you to try the following:

1)     Ask yourself, what makes you happy?
2)     What makes you smile?
3)     What boosts your self esteem and general self image?
4)     What are you best at doing?
5)     What do people regularly compliment you on?
6)     If money wasn’t a factor, what would you be doing?

These are the type of questions I ask myself on at least a weekly basis. I go through what I call a bit of a “self-check”. Just to make sure each day when I get out of bed I can honestly say, hand on heart that I am passionate and energised about the day ahead!

If you can end each day knowing that you have had a good time and have had a positive impact in your world then you know you have been living with passion!

Life is too short, we have to enjoy the ride!

GET PASSIONATE ……it’s fun! 🙂

All the best!

Aleisha
