Her personal journey started with her first pair of ice skates and a big, bold dream of becoming the first New Zealander to compete at a World Synchronised Ice Skating Championship.
This audacious dream pushed her way out of her comfort zone and tested her in every way imaginable.
She dug deep and stayed focused on winning. Then just 3 months after arriving in Australia, she was competing at her first World Championship in Prague, in the Czech Republic. She later went on to compete at 3 more world championships.
Believing that when good things happen to you, you have to pay it forward and help others achieve their own successes, she is now coaching the Australian team that recently competed at their first World Junior Championship.
